The Kensington Waxwings are the newest team to the league. Though they don’t have their first game until next season, the people of Kensington are beyond excited to have a hometown team to root for. The Waxwings are the latest in the city’s revitalization of downtown. The new sports facility was built in part to convince the league to give them a new team, and it worked!

One of only three waxwings species in the world, the cedar waxwing is one of the few birds that is frugivorous - meaning they eat almost exclusively fruit.
