One thing that can be said about the people of Bellville, they’re loyal. The Bluebirds may not have the best record in the league, but that doesn’t stop the residents of Bellville from supporting their team! Many are quick to point out the Bluebirds won the championship, they just leave out that that was 30 years ago. Despite their dry run, the team always seems to be competitive, occasionally sparking hope that this just might be their year.

Bellville’s mascot is the eastern bluebird, one of three bluebird species in the US. Eastern bluebirds have an orange throat and breast, western bluebirds have blue throats and orange breasts, and mountain bluebirds are entirely blue.
